What a great start to summer. This bag came packed with hair care, face prep and prime, a bright shade of nail polish that simply screams "summer here I am!" and more. This came with a black wet suite bag LOL just kidding. But seriously this bags material reminded me of neoprene what a wet suite is made out of. Having risen iPsy logos on it topped off with a bight red zipper. This was a super fun bag so lets dive rite in.
Fist thing was this, mini 0.02 oz shadow crayon by treStique in the shade "Aspin Pine". This is a deep earthy green with gold glitter in it. This starts out sheer and can be built up to a deep earthy green shade. When first applied this can be smudged out. After this sets, its set. I like this but I'm not a huge fan of shadow sticks. I have so many and I just don't find myself reaching for them. This is ok and can be used alone or used as a base with shadow placed on top. Full size retails for $26.00 on treStique website. Sadly it does not list how many ounces a full size contains. So that remain a mystery.
Travel size 1 oz Pure Brazilian "Miracle Leave-in Conditioner" retails for $6.00 on Pure Brazilian website. Due to the fact that this has keratin in it, I did not try this nor will I use it. I have extremely curly hair and I have found that keratin will alter my curl pattern and my curls become looser then usual. This claims that it to draw in and help maintain hydration. It helps keep the frizz down, prolongs keratin treatments and more. Since I will not be using this I will pass this along to a friend.
Deluxe sample .25 oz of Dr. Brant "Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner." Full size of 1 oz retails for $45.00 on Dr. Brants website. I was not wowed by this like I thought I would have been. This comes out as a translucent white with a gel like texture, having a strong herbal scent to it. This claims to exfoliate the skin, unclog poors , extract dirt and more. Me having black heads and extremely oily skin I was expecting some serious results. Sadly this felt extremely tight on the skin once dried. My skin may have felt a tad bit smoother but nothing to drastic. I still had black heads my poor were still clogged. Hey I'm just keeping it real. I just was no wowed. So, at the end this was just ok. I surly will not be purchasing this once this runs out. I did not see any results worth $45.00.
This could not have come at a better time. Full size 0.57 fl oz Absolute New York nail lacquer in the shade "Turquoise." This retails for $4.99 on Absolute New York website. My friend was wearing a nail polish similar to this shade and I thought to myself that I had to have it. Then this was in my iPsy bag and I was so excited. As soon as I took this out and painted my nails. Wish I had a picture to insert of this but sadly I did not think to take a picture of it. But I can tell you how wonderful it was. This is an amazing nail polish. It wears well and is a polish I will continue to reach for.
Deluxe size .25 fl oz of Smash Box "Photo Finish Foundation Primer." Full size of 1 fl oz retails for $36.00 on Smash Box website. I currently already own this and it's not even close to being on my top five list. To me it's a standard silicone primer. I can't find anything special about it. I like it just don't love it.
So, was it worth the $10.00? Yes, although I may not use everything in this months bag, it was fun trying new things. This bag contained four deluxe sized dimples and one full size. I wish I could place a value of the products that this bag contained, but I don't have an accurate number and don't want to guess. In all I this months bag.
