I was looking for a perfume that wasn't too heavy for me, but still fresh enough to impress the people around me.
Because many of the lists I found online were outdated, I made my own. I went to the perfumery and tested as many bottles as my nose could bare.
1. Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noir

This scent is probably the heaviest on this list. I love the packaging, the femininity, the elegance.
2. Marc Jacobs, Daisy Dream

Although the scent does not remind me of daisies at all (when I want to be reminded of endless summer days I take a bath in my Eau Sereine bath foam), this scent is one of the lightest and freshest on my list. Truely divine.
3. Dolce & Gabbana, Light Blue

This scent has been with me my whole life and I will never tire of it. Sometimes I'm tired of it, then I smell it somewhere and I have to have it. The clean lemon scent just takes me back to better days. It is quite heavy, so go lightly with it. It is in the style of men's perfumes in my opinion, in the style of Boss and Chanel.
4. Boss, Femme

I remember thinking this was the most sofisticated of the perfumes on the list. I am also very pleased with my Hugo Boss heels!
5. Dior, Absolutely Blooming

I love love love this perfume, as it is elegant, beautiful looking, lightly floral but not too heavy, and comes in cheaper editions like hair mists and rollers. Con: the scent barely lingers.
6. Mademoiselle Azzaro, L'eau très belle

This perfume is described as elegant, feminine and lively. I can't remember the scent, but I believe it to be cirtussy.
7. Burberry, Blush

I almost bought this one because it smells so delicate and girly.
PS: the one I picked is Dior Absolutely Blooming!
