BY TERRY TERRYBLY VELVET ROUGE LIPSTICKS IN DREAM BLOOM, BANKABLE ROSE & GYPSY ROSE

By Terry's latest new lip product range presents their own rendition of liquid or fluid lipsticks, called the Terrybly Velvet Rouge Lipstick.  This range delivers the intense pigment of a lipstick with a "matte velvet" finish and are designed to be long-lasting.  There are currently eight shades available, but the three I chose are: Dream Bloom (3), Bankable Rose (7), and Gypsy Rose (6).

Colours & Finish
Dream Bloom (3) - a warm rose pink - perfect for every day.
Bankable Rose (7) - a shocking pink - ultra bright and saturated - sure to make you smile!
Gypsy Rose (6) - a medium to dark plum pink.  This one is a little too purply blue for my liking though.

These appear slightly creamy/glossy when first applied, but then appears semi-matte to a matte finish when you're left with a stain after several hours.

Packaging
This range are packaged similarly to a gloss.
The doe-foot applicator has a rather unique shape, which is designed to be ergonomic.  I'm still undecided about this applicator.  It has a dip in the middle which suggests it might fit on the contours of the lips, but it's quite long so those with full lips might find it easier to apply this way.  My lips are quite thin unfortunately, so I tend to use just the tip of the applicator.  It's taking a while to get used to as it is rounded and a little tricky to get right in the corners of the lips.  But, I do like the fact that it still applies precisely on the outer edges of the lips since most of it is on a curve and the rounded tip seems to make it easier.
Swatches
For reference, the swatches were applied on my olive, medium to tanned skin and photographed indoors under artificial lighting and using a strobe.

Pigmentation, Application, Feel & Longevity
Intense pigment? Big tick.  The creamy formula glides on the lips evenly and smoothly.  It has a slightly waxy feel and is not sticky.  (I do prefer the feel of Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet, which is even more lightweight and has a velvety smooth feel, followed by the YSL Kiss & Blush, which is similar, but not as comfortable).  By Terry Terrybly Velvet Rouge Liquid wears well - leaving a nice, stain on my lips after about 6-7 hours over drinks and meals.  I don't have dehydrated lips, but I did find as the lipstick wore and faded into a stain, it did feel a bit drying.

Overall
Excellent pigmentation and long-wearing.  I also find these make my lips look plumper and fuller, which I really appreciate!  Love the colours - especially Dream Bloom which I will get a lot of use out of for day wear, and Bankable Rose, which is so amazingly intense in colour.  I wish it didn't feel drying on my lips though!

Availability
I purchased mine from Harrods.com, but is also available in Space NK UK.

Hope this was useful. :)

Thanks for looking! ^_^ xo
