I am initiating this poll to find out priority date segments, as I could not found a poll for priority dates tracking.
I have divided priority dates in eights segments. From the eight segments, I have created three specific segments from Jan 2004 to June 2004, June 2004 to Dec 2004 and Jan 2005 to March 2005. The people in these segments are most likely to get their GC (If USCIS process in FIFO manner) as soon as the backlog with priority dates before 2003 is cleared. The first three months of 2005, Jan to March, when lots of people applied, just before a new PERM labor certification process was introduce. This will help separate the three months from the rest of the year 2005.
Please join me to track priority dates which is the key date for GC approval.

Not sure if increase in immigration fee will make GC processing faster.

I tried calling Nebraska Service Center using the 1-800 number and then entering the POJ options. But it seems USCIS has a new system in place and there's no way to reach the Service Center anymore.
Looks like they ended another means of communication---no more POJ? Please correct me, if someone knows the new options. Thanks!

This week because of recess all the senators will be in your home town. From March 27 things will move very fast. This is the last chance we all have to meet the senators since they are in their hometown. So no matter which bill comes to the floor, in the last week of March or the first week of April it is very important that we do following things:
1. During congressional recess contact Senators offices for meetings.
2. Call our Senators in their local office and talk to them on phone.
3. Send fax, letters and emails.
Please keep checking WWW.IMMIGRATIONVOICE.ORG regularly since new materials will be posted frequently. Whenever and wherever you get a chance, please convey your senators that Legal immigration system is broken and needs to be fixed.

Company A applied for labor(EB2) in Dec2006. It was approved.
My I140 was filed in March 2007 and approved on Jan 10 2008.
I did not file for I485 in July 2007.
I had changed companies in April 2007.Presenly I am on Company B payroll.
Now, If I move back to Company A, would I be able to apply for my I485 when the date opens.
The online status for I140 says, Approved.
I am in good terms with both the employers.
If I move to company A; at the time of applying I485, do I need to have paystubs from Company A?
Please help. Thanks

Just got an email from Expedia.com - fares from Bay Area to Wash. D.C. have dropped by about $50 - the cheapest fares today (9/06/2007):
- SFO - BWI (US Airways) $208
- OAK - DCA (ATA): $218
- SJC - BWI (Continental): $218
The fares shouldn't be a reason to not participate in the rally! Hope to see more folks from CA - Norcal & SoCal.

1) I have an approved I-140 from my future employer company and the priority date is may-2003 (EB3).
11) I have filed my 485 and 140 concurrently in august EB2 category from my current employer. The priority date of my labor is nov-2006.
Please provide me your guidance can i use my approved 140 PD (may-2003) in my filled 485.

22 Democratic Senators are urging President Obama to stop deporting young people who are likely to be eligible for legalization if the DREAM Act passes. The White House has so far rebuffed such requests with the not very believable excuse that it's hands are tied. That's simply not so and the President's executive authority to solve immigration problems Congress is ignoring has been well documented. Hopefully, the pressure will start to pay off.

Hi,
My friend had done 7th Yr Extension last month. By Mistake she gave dates such that it showed that she was out of USA for 1 year. So the lawyer filed for 3 yr extension and USCIS permitted. Is this rectifiable?

Valid EAD along with SSN is used for work. As you are waiting for the corrected EAD, you cannot work I guess.

yes. its possible. i had my 140 denied and i wanted to know everything about my case from labor to 140denial to appeals. I filed FOIA and USCIS sent me everything on a CD.
